Q: Which tools can I use to clean the LIFEPAK® 15? and how?
A: The following tools and materials can be used to perform external and internal cleaning of the device:
Clean the exterior of the device by wiping the surface with any of the following solutions:
- Soap and water
- Quaternary ammonium compounds
- Isopropyl alcohol
- Peroxide (peracetic acid) solutions
WARNING!
Shock or fire hazard. Do not immerse or soak any portion of this device in water or any other fluid. Avoid spilling any fluid on the device or accessories. Spilled liquids may cause the defibrillator and accessories to perform inaccurately or fail. Do not clean with ketones or other flammable agents. Do not autoclave or sterilize this defibrillator or accessories unless otherwise specified.
CAUTION!
Possible case damage. Do not clean any part of this device or accessories with bleach, bleach dilution, or phenolic compounds. Do not use abrasive or flammable cleaning agents. Do not attempt to sterilize this device or any accessories unless otherwise specified in the accessory operating instructions.
